Wetting the babies head
Wetting the babies head or also known as, a chance for me to relax and finally hit the dance floor again. These hips can not be contained for long. Pregnancy put an unwanted stop to me cutting some shapes on the dance floor.
My grandparents are from St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean and I definitely feel this has given me music and rhythm in my soul. So any chance I get to wind and grind to the music I'm there.
So this weekend I dragged my husband and friends out on the town for a few....Ok, many drinks. We had a great time but the statement that was said most was "I'm too old for this". Which probably is true! We are too old for it but I'm still gonna give it a go!
(I love a selfie!)
"This night was going to take days to get over"
Going out makes me feel so happy that I'm not single. The dating game is tough. I witness this through my friends. Can you really meet a life long partner in a sweaty night club?
I was reminded that I've still got it when I was pulled by a man who planted a huge sloppy kiss on my cheek. No, It wasn't my husband seduced by my sexy dance moves. It was a random man. Obviously, I quickly shoved this man off me. We all turned to Phil and his face was a picture. I have no idea what made this man think it was acceptable to do this?
Pretending I'm 20 was over for the night and time for bed but not before getting 2 am chips and a curry spring roll. I say chips I seem to remember my friends eating them....why are they my friends again?
I then try and pretend I've met my husband for the first time and I'm taking him home. I drunkenly say to the taxi driver back to his place please. My husband has a great sense of humour, very dry and he was having none of it. The look on his face was, "What is this silly cow going on about. Get me home I don't want people to know I'm with her and I just want my bed".
Finally home, a drink of water, some chewable vitamins, then bed. I think to myself that will do it.....No hangover for me tomorrow. I was wrong! This night was going to take days to get over. Add in regular night feeds for the baby the next few days and I'm done. I am too old for this! No more partying to this extent for the Mum in a Mann's world.
